Councilmember ~ <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION <br />OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />AND MODIFICATION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 6. <br /> <br /> WHERE~AS, the City Council, by prior action, has established Development District No. <br />1 (Development District) pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, §469.124 through §469.134 and has <br />established several tax increment financing (TIF) districts within Development District No. 1 <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, §469.174 through {}469.179; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is necessary to modify the Development <br />Program for the rDevelopment District and modify the TIF Plan for TIF District No. 6 within the <br />Development District. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be prepared a <br />modified Development Program for Development District No. 1 and a modified TIF Plan <br />for TIF District No.6 and to file a copy of all documents in City Hall. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice for <br />publication in the official newspaper setting a public hearing before the City Council on the <br />13th day of August, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, on the modified Program and <br />TIF Plan. The notice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10, but not more than 30, <br />days prior to the public hearing. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to take all other actions <br />necessary, to bring the Modified Development Program and TIF Plan before the City <br />Council at the time of the public hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council on <br />this the 9th day of July, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
