I ,I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-07-m RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO BARBAROSSA & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-13 (RAMSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project #95-13 on February 14, 1995; and WHEREAS, the {2ity Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for the Ramsey Elementary School sanitary sewer and watermain extension (Improvement Project ~95-13); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $64,297.95. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for Improvement Project ~95-13 in the amount of $64,297.95. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of July, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of July, 1996.
