Case #2: Review Stipends Paid to Various Board and Commission Members <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart noted that it was recommended that the City review the stipends paid to Board <br />and Commission members. Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith contacted other cities <br />with regard to the stipends they pay. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmem-mn stated that it's been awhile since these stipends were reviewed and <br />that he would prefer a longer time to discuss it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Hardin to table the issue of the <br />stipend review and bring it back to a subsequent meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />1 ) Environmental Expo <br /> <br />Ms. Hart reported that since there is no Environmental Expo planned, Bruce Bacon has asked if <br />there is interest in having it in conjunction with the Business Expo/Community Picnic. Also, since <br />there is not one, Mr. Bacon has asked if Council is interested in participating in an Arbor Tree <br />planting event at the Tree Sale on May 4. The time of 9:00 a.m. was suggested. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
