Voting No: None. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case -it3: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Business Park 95 2nd Addition; <br />Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that preliminary plat approval was granted to Business Park 95 <br />2nd Addition. The area to be platted is approximately 65.5 acres in size and was approved to be <br />subdivided into six industrial lots for development. The current plan is to eliminate Lot 2, Block 2, <br />where Bjorklund Ready Mix and the Julian Johnson parcels are - there are some t/fie issues that <br />have to be resolved. City Staff is recommending final plat approval without those two lots. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder reported that the groundbreaking for Trend Scientific was this Thursday; they are <br />well underway :plus Automated EDM started yesterday. Both are contingent upon this plat <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />4/:96-04-096 granting final plat approval to Business Park 95 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Peterson, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Review Proposed Ordinance to Amend Chapters 5 and 9 of Ramsey <br />I?tY Code Regarding Parking and Storing Vehicles and Equipment in <br /> esidential Districts <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reminded Council that the concerns raised during the last discussion <br />of Chapters 5 and 9 were as follows: there needs to be some means of preventing persons from <br />converting a m~ority of their yard to a prepared surface and inundating their property with vehicle <br />storage and there also has to be some means of preventing persons from storing vehicles and <br />equipment for fi"iends and relatives. In response to the first item, language already exists in the <br />proposed ordinance that prohibits the parking and storing of commercial vehicles and equipment in <br />the front yard. Language was added to prohibit parking and storing of private use vehicles and <br />equipment in the front yard unless it is in the driveway.
