Case #11: Receive and Review the I995 Comprehensive Annual Financial <br /> Report (CAFR) <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that the City of Ramsey is required to undergo a certified audit, on an <br />annual basis, of all of its funds and account groups. This audit is performed by the f'n-m of <br />Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich and Company, P.A. The preparation of the <br />Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is done by the Finance Department. Ms. Hart <br />summarized the report and asked Council to authorize its submittal to the Department of Revenue. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to accept the 1995 <br />Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and authorize the Finance Officer to submit it to the State <br />of Minnesota Dep~trtment of Revenue and other agencies as required and to submit the report with <br />application for the Certificate to the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States <br />and Canada. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen and Beyer. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from the Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that a discussion was held relating to the T.H. #47 Local Initiative <br />Project Application and the Corridor Study; however, there was no quorum present and this <br />meeting/discussion will take place next month. <br /> <br />Case #13: Report l'rom the Personnel Committee <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />End Probationary Period of Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite <br />Smith <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Linda Waite Smith has received a satisfactory, six-month <br />appraisal of her perfon-nance, and he recommends she be retained as a regular, full-time employee, <br />effective June 18, 1996. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />g06-06-150 ending the prob:ttionary period for Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite <br />Smith. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councihnen'~berZin'm-~erman. <br /> <br />2) Commission Appointment Process <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that she presented addition'~ information on <br />the Commission appointmen£ process to the Personnel Committee. They directed she prepare a <br />draft policy and bring it back fo!' [heir consideration and finally to Council for their consideration <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />No action necessary. <br /> <br />Case #14: Emergency Temporary Structure Permit <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that an emergency temporary structure permit can be issued <br />by the Building Official for 90 days. If the applicant needs more time, a request must be made to <br />the City Adminisu':ttor who can then grant another 90 days.
