CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, April 18, 1996, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present; <br /> <br />Chairperson Bernard S teffen <br />Commissioner Dennis Donovan <br />Commissioner Keith Kiefer <br />Commissioner Judy Marn <br />Commissioner Richard Netzloff <br />Commissioner Judy Roff <br />Commissioner Virginia Spain Brist <br />Commissmner Jay Swokowski <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Steffen called the regular meeting of the Charter Commission to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kiefer and seconded by Commissioner Netzloff to approve the Charter <br />Commission regular meeting minutes dated February 1, 1996. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Kiefer, Netzloff, Donovan, <br />Marn, Roff, Spain Brist and Swokowski. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Interview Applicant to Fill Vacancy on the Charter Commission <br /> <br />The Charter Commission interviewed Susan E. Anderson for the vacant position on the <br />Commission. Ms. Anderson was asked questions supplied by the Administrative Services <br />Manager to the Commissior/." <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Swokowski and seconded by Commissioner Donovan to recommend <br />that the City Council appoint Susan E. Anderson to a term on the Charter Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Swokowski, Donovan, Kiefer, <br />Marn, Netzloff, Roff and Spain Brist.
