Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-08-XXX <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FURNITURE FOR THE <br /> POLICE DEPARTMENT FACILITIES <br /> <br /> · WHEREAS, at the Council's meeting of August 13, 1996, staff presented a request for <br />the purchase of furniture for the Police Department facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1996 Adopted General Fund Budget was the purchase of <br />famiture for the Police Department facility for a total price of $22,727.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Police department and Administrative staff have conducted site visits in <br />order to compare furnishings provided by Facility Systems and TAB Office Products; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on these site visits, Facility System is favored for furnishings and <br />TAB Office Products for filing systems and lockers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the most competitive seating company is OEB Inc. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the capital purchase of furnishings for <br /> the Police Department facility as follows: <br /> <br /> Workstations Facility Systems $11,609 <br /> Files/Lockers Tab Office Products 7,590 <br /> Chairs OEB, Inc. 2,534 <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
