Councilmember: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS AND BUDGET <br />AMENDMEN~ FOR LOOPING WATERMAIN AT T.H. #47/C.R. #116 INTERSECTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee meeting of August 27, 1996.. staff presented a <br />request to loop tile municipal water system in conjunction with T.H. g47/C.R, gl 16 intersection <br />project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal received from Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., the contractor <br />currently performing the work on the State/County intersection project, amounted to $22,010; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHERE,AS, the project provides a opportunity to loop the municipal watermain to <br />allow for back feqd to area businesses on both sides of T.H. g47; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an expenditure of this nature was not included in the Adopted 1996 Water <br />Utility Enterprise Fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment for the looping of <br />the municipal water system in conjunction with T.H. g47/C.R, gl 16 intersection project <br />in the amotint of $22,010. <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby awards the work for the watermain looping to <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., the contractor currently performing the work on the <br />State/Couney intersection project for a cost of $22,010. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vbte being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
