! ,I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-09-__ RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ~ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-11 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK I~!LL THE SW QUARTER OF SECTION 22: PELTZER ADDITION, BEAUDRY'S 2ND ADDITION, AND UNPLATTED AREAS) WHEREAS~ a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating and crack filling of ~e SW Quarter of Section 22: Peltzer Addition, Beaudry's 2nd Addition, and Unplatted Area~s, and the expenr, es incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $37,168 so that ;he total cost of the improvement will be $37,168. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 3) OF THE CITY OF That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $18,584~and ;he portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $18,584. That the princ.ipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three (3) years; the first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in I997 and shall bear interest, per at)nm from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution, at the mm of two (2) percent above:the U.S. Treasury Rate ...... That the City! Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement Sgainst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash yaluation, as provided by law, and shall file in the city offices a copy of such proposed assessment fo~. public inspection. 4) That the City ~Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City Council thereof.
