I ! I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adopfi_ RESOLUTION #96-09- _ RESOLUTION;APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, IN( IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-18 (MCKINLEY STREET WEST OF C.R. # WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on i 1996; and WHEREAS, on May 28, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted #96-05~133, awar~ling the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the construction of McKinley Stre distance of 400 feet west of C.R. #57 (Improvement Project #96-18); and i WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the $26,791.38; and WHEREA~S, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed wc recommends parti~ payment to W. B. Miller, Inc./n the amount of $48,401.07. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the city Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. constructior~ of McKinley Street for a distance of 400 feet west of C.R. #57 (imPrc Project #96!18) in the amount of $48,401.07. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor o: AdministratOr to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving paymem for the month of September, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resoluti~ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counci/membe~: __ and upon yom being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Count the 9th day of September, 1996.
