I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g96-09-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMl <br />IMPROVEMENTiPROJECT g95-15 (SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM <br />AND STREET I1V~PROVEMENTS TO FOX KNOLL) <br /> £ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,iby a resolution passed by the City Council on September 9, 1996, the City Ad: <br />was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer ~ <br />improvements to Fox!Knoll (Improvement Project #95-15); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,: the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assess <br />been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Ct <br />RAMSEY, ANOK/k COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on October 8, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal <br />pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property ~ <br />such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on thc <br />assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearin~ <br />shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the <br /> <br />That the ownerrof any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assesstxtc <br />County Auditoi', pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with interest accrued to tht <br />payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />from the adop~on of the assessment. The owner may at any time, thereafter, pay to the City <br />amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the yem <br />such payment iR made.
