I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br />:1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-09-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION D[ECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPA~ <br />OF PROPOSED ;ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~95-17 (EXTENS <br />SANITARY SEWER AND WATER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO RIVER'S <br />4TH ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREASj a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to thc <br />of sanitary sewer an,el water and street improvements to River's Bend 4th Addition, and the expense: <br />or to be incurred ini the making of such improvement amount to $222,537 so that the total <br />improvement MI1 be~ $222,537. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />RAMSEY, ANOVA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the porlSon of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey Sewer a <br />Utilities is hereby declared to be $109,493 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against <br />properly owners is declared to be $113,044. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the principal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period c: <br />years; the fir~t of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in 1997 and s: <br />interest, per ~annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution, at the n:':: <br />percent above the U.S. Treasury Rate. . <br /> <br />That the City Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed 1 <br />improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected. <br />regard to cash'valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in the city offices a copy of such I: <br />assessment for public inspection. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, <br />Ramsey City Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br />of September, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
