Robert Street <br />St. Paul, MN 55101 ' <br />Dear Ms. Kozlak: <br />This letter is to notify you that the City of Ramsey is applying for an infrastructure grant from <br />the federally funded Minnesota Safe Route to School Program. The purpose of this program is <br />to: <br />1. Provide children, including those with disabilities, safer facilities to walk and bike to <br />school <br />2. Encourage more children to walk and bike to school, promoting a healthy and active <br />lifestyle from an early age <br />3. Facilitate the implementation of projects and activities that will improve safety and <br />reduce traffic congestion and air pollution in the vicinity of schools. <br />The City of Ramsey is applying for this grant to implement infrastructure improvements <br />around Ramsey Elementary School.
