This is a professional service and, therefore, is <br /> not bound by the statutory bidding laws. <br /> <br /> RFP's [copy attached] were mailed directly to seven finns, each of which is currently active in <br /> the Minnesota Oovernment Finance Officers Association [MNGFOA] and all of which actively <br /> audit cities in the~ metropolitan area. Those finns solicited are as follows: <br /> <br /> Boeckermann, Heinen and Mayer, CPA's <br /> Bloomington, Minnesota <br /> <br /> Deloitte & Touche <br /> Mixmeapolis, Minnesota <br /> <br /> Eide, Helmeke & Co. <br /> Minneapolis, Minnesota <br /> <br /> Kern, DeWenter, Viere, LTD. <br /> St. Cloud, Minnesota <br /> <br /> Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co., P.A. <br /> Minneapolis, Minnesota <br /> <br /> McGladrey & Pullen <br /> Minneapolis, Minnesota <br /> <br /> Tautges, Redpath & Co., LTD <br /> White Bear Lake, Minnesota <br /> <br />The RFP requested a three-year contract, for the City and the Fire Relief Association, with <br />guaranteed not-to-exceed prices for each of the three years. It was also requested that a deduct <br />amount be provided as an option to the auditors preparing the report [in reproducible form] with <br />the City making the copies. <br /> <br />The proposals aredue on Monday, September 23, 1996, at 3:00 p.m., therefore, the results were <br />not available for the preparation of this case. It is anticipated that the information summarized <br />and recommendati;on will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
