However, Staff did noti/y <br />several residents in Sunny Ponds along the north boundary of the subject site of the dates <br />and times that this application would be reviewed by the Planning Commission and the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The site planiproposes to construct an additional access to the church from Nowthen Blvd. <br />Thc new acCess would bc located north of thc existing access and act as an egress only. <br />The existing ,~cccss would be converted to an ingress only. The Anoka County Highway <br />Department rkc, ommended removal of the existing residential driveway to a home located <br />between the ~xisting and proposed accesses to Lord of Life. Lord of Life owns the subject <br />home and the} site plan reflects removal of that driveway and rerouting traffic to and from <br />the house to the Lord of Life ingress and egress. <br /> <br />The site plan;also proposes the addition of 99 off-sweet parking spaces to the site. The new <br />driveway and parking area are proposed to be paved and curbed in accordance with Code <br />requirementsiwith some minor exceptions. There will be an absence of concrete curbing in <br />certain areasI of the north and south ends of the new parking lot'to facilitate future <br />expansions to the north and south in accordance with the Traffic Engineering Study. <br /> <br />The City Engineer has requested calculations to verify the adequacy of the detention pond <br />proposed to be constructed between C.S.A.H. #5 and the parking area. <br /> <br />.The Planning Commission met on October 1 and reviewed the proposal for site <br />~mprovement~. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning~Commission and City Staff recommend site plan approval. <br /> <br />CounCil Action: <br /> <br />Motior~ to: <br />Approve/deny site plan approval to the access and off-street parking improvements <br />at Lord of Life Church. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: City Engineer <br />CC: 10/8/96 <br /> <br />Iq$ <br /> <br /> <br />
