I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />inu'oduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-10-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION~ ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE <br />.AUTOMATED iEDM FACILITY (PIN R35-32-25-23-0009, LOT 2, BLOCK 2 <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as requLred by law, the Ramsey City Council <br />has met and heardiand passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvements <br />to Lot 2, Block 2, ~Business Park Second Addition ( PIN 35-32-25-23-0009). <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ~ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hereby ~tccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> therein, ar~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That such ~sessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of ten <br /> years, the ~ru'st of the installments to be payable with the f'u'st tax rolls of 1997 and shall <br /> bear interest at the rate of 8.25% annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br /> resolution, i. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the <br /> date of thig resolution until December 31, 1996. To each subsequent installment, when <br /> due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to ceffification of the <br />assessment to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />property, With interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />except thatlno interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />the adoptior~ of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br />Finance D~partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br />accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br />be made before November 13, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br />succeedingyear. <br /> <br />4) That a certified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Office to b~ extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collected md paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />~/he motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br />and the following x~°ted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />l. he 8th day of OctOber, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />
