I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-10-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RYAN CONTRACTING, <br />INCo FoR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-16 (SANITARY SEWER, WATER- <br />MAIN, STORM~SEWER, AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SUNWOOD DRIVE <br />EAST) <br /> <br /> WHERE&S, on April 9, 1996, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution g96-04-075, <br />authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, on May 14, 1996, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #96-05-121 <br />awarding the bid tO Ryan Contracting, Inc. for the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and <br />street improvement~ to Sunwood Drive East (Improvement Project g94-16); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has authorized previous payments in the amount of $661,307.54; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Ryan Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $90,172.20. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the CiVy Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Ryan Contracting, Inc. for the <br />sanitary se~er, watermain, storm sewer, and street improvements to Sunwood Drive East <br />(Improvement Project #94-16) in the amount of $90,172.20. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> AdministratOr to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of October, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />ar, d the following ware absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />t_he 8th day of October, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
