I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g96-10-_ RESOLUTION /~PPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO S.R. WEIDEMA, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g95-21 (SUNWOOD DRIVE WEST) WHEREA~, on April 9, 1996, City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for th~above referenced work; and WHEREAS,, on May 14, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96~05-119 awardi!ig the bid to S.R. Weidema, Inc. for the construction of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #56 to C.R. #1,16, including watermain and sanitary sewer (Improvement Project #95-21); and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has authorized previous payment in the amount of $598,959.37; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial~payment to S.R. Weidema, Inc. in the amount of $99,569.22. NOW THEREFO~RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to S.R. Weidema, Inc. for the constructionlof Sunwood Drive frOm C.R. #56 to C.R. #116, including watermain and sanitary sewer (Improvement Project g95-21) in the amount of $99,569.22. 2) 3) That the Ci~ Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City AdministratOr to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the mont~ of October, 1996. 4) That the Ci~ of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the aitoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ __ and upon vo~e being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: ; and the following abstained: and the following ware absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of October, 1996.
