I I I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I I i ORDINANCE # 9 6- CITY OF RAMBEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN OHDXNAN~E IMPLEMENTING CHAPTER 8.6 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CHARTER. The City of Ramsey ordains: ~ECTION 1. AUTHORITY This Ordinance is adopted ~pursuant to the authority granted the City Councl~ by Section 12.12 of the Ramsey City Charter. EBCTION 2. ~ PU.R~OEE AND ARPLICABILIT]f. The purpose~of this Ordinance is to provide uniform regulations to carry out agd make effective Section 8.6 of the City Charter. This ordinance a~plies to any residential improved property in the City, which prope,rty has Urban Services (sewer and/or water) available to it and which property has not been assessed for the benefit of said Urban ServiCes. EE~TION $. DEFINITIONS As used in this Ordinance, the following terms have the meanings provided iN this Section unless the context clearly requires otherwise. Sube. 1 "Functional private sewer and water systems" means a non-municipal on-site sewer system and water system which complies with all City of Ramsey and State of Minnesota health and pollution control regulations. As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, the term "original assessment" shall mean that the initial assessment amount which would have been assessed and levied against a property for a Local Improvement Project which first extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water) to said property. Subd. 3 As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, an assessment which is "consistent with the original assessment" is that amount which would be assessed and levied against a property for a Local Improvement Project which extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water) to said property as if said urban Services were installed at the time the property connects to the City's sewer and/or water utilities.
