Ms. Frolik replied that <br />Cases #3, and #7!through #14 including Case #1 IA, were top priority and the other items need to be <br />addressed within the next day or two. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Terry, Deemer, Jensen, and <br />Thomd. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to move to Case #3. <br /> <br />Motion carded, voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commis ;ioners LaDue, Deemer, Jensen, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Votingl'¢o: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request to Rezone Certain Property from B--1 Business to R-1 Rural Residential; <br /> Case of C. Thomas Austin <br /> <br />Zoning Administratc~r Sylvia Frolik explained that in the I980 Comprehensive Plan the existing zoning of <br />the property was cobunercial, and the existing use was residential. She explained that the proposed 1990 <br />zoning map contairied in the Plan converted the zoning to R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />The Planning Comr~ssion proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by CommNsioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to accept #1 through #9 as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting' Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Voting N~ None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to amend #10 to indicate that <br />the zoning amendment will not impair the use of surrounding property. <br /> <br />Motion canied. Votitng Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, Jensen, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Voting No;: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to amend #11 to indicate that <br />the zoning amendment will not change the character of the area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None.
