Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-11- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT~ PROJECT #96-18 (MCKINLEY STREET WEST OF C.R. #57) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 14, 1996; and WHEREAS, on May 28, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96-05-133, awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the construction of McKinley Street for a distance of 400 feet west of C.R. #57 (Improvement Project g96-18); and WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $75,192.45; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final p~tyment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $6,553.00. NOW THEREFO,RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the construction bf McKinley Street for a distance of 400 feet west of C.R. #57 (Improvement Project #96-~8) in the amount of $6,553.00. That the citY Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total~amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the montti of November, 1996. 4) That the City ;of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the Moption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ and upon vo~e being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of November, 1996.
