Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-11- RESOLUTION:i APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RYAN CONTRACTING, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g94-16 (SANITARY SEWER, WATER- MAIN, STOR~I.~ SEWER, AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SUNWOOD DRIVE EAST) WHEREAS, on April 9, 1996, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #96-04-075, authorizing the prbparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1996, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #96-05-121 awarding the bid ito Ryan Contracting, Inc. for the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and street improvemefits to Sunwood Drive East (Improvement Project g04-16); and WHEREAS, City Council has authorized previous payments in the amount of $751,479.74; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Ryan Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $110,145.27. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) 3) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Ryan Contracting, Inc. for the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and street improvements to Sunwood Drive East (Improvement Project #94-16) in the amount of $110,145.27. That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the to~al amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the mofith of November, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
