Councilmember <br /> <br />. L introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g96-10-m <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO <br />FOR IMPROVI~MENT PROJECT g96-16 (SANITARY <br />STORM SEWISR,~: AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />ADDITION) <br /> <br />KADLEC EXCAVATING <br />SEWER, WATERMAIN, <br />OF FOX KNOLL 2ND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution g96-04-069, dated April 9, 1996, authorized the preparation of <br />plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 14, 1996, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #96-05-118 <br />awarding the b~d tO Kadlec Excavating for the samtary sewer, watermam, storm sewer and street <br />construction of Fox'.Knoll 2nd Addition (Improvement Project g96-16); and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, previous payments have been made to Kadlec Excavating in the amount of <br />$330,600.17; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial[payment to Kadlec Excavating in the amount of $12,889.09. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, A~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the CitY Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kadlec Excavating for the sanitary <br />sewer, wate-rmain, storm sewer and street construction of Fox Knoll 2nd Addition <br />(Improvement Project #96-16) in the amount of $12,889.09. <br /> <br />2) That the Ci~ty Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> AdministratOr to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of November, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the city of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the agloption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of Nove~mber, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />
