N.W. <br /> <br />That if the request for the placement of an additional free-standing sign on the <br />Su~ect Property is approved, it will set a precedent for off-site advertising signs, <br />nuriaber of free-standing signs on a single parcel, and total square footage of free- <br />standing sign space. <br /> <br />Tha~t the proposed sign will not substantially impair the use or market value of <br />surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Thai the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to <br />per_SOns working in the vicinity of the use, or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />That if granted, the conditional use permit will not grant the Applicant special <br />privileges that are denied by the City Code to other properties in the commercial <br />area; <br /> <br />Thai the proposed use will be consu-ucted and maintained so as to be appropriate in <br />ap~arance with the character of the general area. <br /> <br />That: the proposed sign will not be hazardous or disturbing to neighboring uses. <br /> <br />That. the proposed use MI1 not create excessive additional requirements at public <br />cost ~for public facilities and services and will not be detrimental to the economic <br />welf~re of the community. <br /> <br />That ithe proposed use will not involve equipment and conditions of operation that <br />will be detrimental to any persons, property, or the general welfare by reason of <br />exce~siv, e production of glare. <br /> <br />The motion for the <br />Councilmember <br />in favor ther~f: <br /> <br />adoption of the foregoing findings of fact was duly seconded by <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the folloWing abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />107 <br /> <br /> <br />
