The policy gives commissioners whose terms are soon to expire <br />an opportunity tp request reappointment by the City Council. If a commissioner declines to seek <br />reappointment o~: if the Council declines to reappoint, the resulting vacancies will be advertised <br />to the public. In October, questionnaires and notices of impending term expirations were sent to <br />commissioners Whose terms are expiring in the next three months. <br /> <br />At its Novemberl 12, 1996 meeting, the City Council voted to reappoint commissioners who had <br />submitted their i'eappointment requests. Charles LaDue's request to be reappointed to the <br />Planning CommiSsion was received after the meeting and is attached for review. <br /> <br />Council Action: - <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Receive and r~view questionnaires completed by Charles LaDue; and <br /> <br />Direct AdminiStrative Services Manager to arrange an interview, if necessary; or <br /> <br />Approve or decline to approve Mr. LaDue's reappointment to the Planning Commission; and <br />Direct the Administrative Services Manager to notify Mr. LaDue of the Council's decision. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Administrative Services Manager <br /> <br />PC 11/26/96 <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br /> <br /> <br />
