LaDue Date: November 15, 1996

1. Wl~at do you feel has been the most important accomplishment of the
eommissioh during your term of office?
Revision and updating of the comprehensive plan.

2. Wh~ do you ~el has been your most important personal contribution to the
commission, s work dur~g your term of office?

On occ~ssion, controversial items have come before the commission
and ha~e resulted in one group that would apply the letter of the
statut~ without deviation, and a second group that would throw
the ordinance out the window and capitulate to the wishes of a
few vo~al members of the audience. I have always attempted to
find t~e middle ground between these two positions and formulate
a moderate recommendatiQn to the City Council.
3. What[hasbeenyourgreatestfrustrationasacomm~sioner?
Although not frustrating, it has been difficult to maintain
one's objectivity at times when some members of the commission
take a~ obvious personal approach to items that come before
the cor~mission.

In your opinion, what would make the commission more effective?
No opinion.

5. What ~ould you like to see the commission accomplish during the next two
years?
I would .~eave this to the direction of the City Council.
