Therefore, the applicant has requested that the drainage easement be formally vacated over the entire lot and that a permanent 50-foot drainage and utility easement be ~anted to the City over the northerly 50 feet of the lot. This easement will allow for the existing drainage pattern to continue to some degree, particularly on smaller precipitation events. Larger events will Overflow to the Juniper Woods Pond, however, the permanent easement will provide for some filtration ~tnd sediment removal of storm water before entering the Juniper Woods Pond. Chairperson Bawden noted that grading work has already occurred and inquired regarding the need for a grading or mininglpermit. Ms. Frolik advised Mr. Berglund has applied for a permit for the fill that was placed and there is remedial work staffwould like to be done. The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider that separate action at the December 3, 1996, meeting. Ms. Frolik explained this agenda item is simply informational and to advise the members of remedial action to be completed. Chairperson Bawd® expressed concern that work was done prior to City consideration or approval, and noted this will be akldressed at the meeting in December. COMMISSION INPUT None.
