Councilmember .... introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-12- RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALBERG WATER SERVICES, IJLC FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-21 (CONSTRUCTION OF WELL NO. 3)i WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on February 13, 1996; and ~ WHEREAS, on September 9, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~96-09-217 awarding the bid to A/berg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 3 (Improver~nt Project ~96-21); and WHEREAS, previous payment has been issued to A/berg Water Services, LLC in the amount of $8,9117 and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to A/berg Waters Services, LLC in the amount of $15,648.40. NOW THEREI~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, !ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to A/berg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-21) in the amount of $15,648.40. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the tohsd amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the moJnth of December, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ and upon vote beirig taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of December, I996.
