'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONi APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO ARCON CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY, I~C. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g94-20 (THE EXTENSION OF <br />SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED ANOKA ELECTRIC <br />COOPERATIVE FACILITY AND ENERGY PARK ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~94-09-214 on <br />September 27, 1994, approving this project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g95-08-169 on <br />August 8, 1995, ag, arding the bid to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the extension of sanitary <br />sewer and water lo the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and Energy Park Addition <br />(Improvement Project g94-20); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in <br />the amount of $775,423.66; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $19,791.77. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. <br />for the extd_nsion of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative <br />Facility anti Energy Park Addition (Improvement Project #94-20) in the amount of <br />$19,791.77. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Adminis~'a~or to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total~ amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of December, 1996. <br /> <br />.4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following vOted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the loth day of December, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
