I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilrnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-12- RESOLUTION' APPROVING CONSTRUCTION, INC. (CONSTRUCTION OF PUMP WELL NO. 3) ' 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO M.C. MAGNEY FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96- 22 HOUSE AND CONNECTING WATERMAIN FOR WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on February 13, 1996; and WHEREAS, on November 12, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96-11,~324 awarding the bid to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. for the construction of a pump house and cbnnecting waterman for Well No. 3 (Improvement Project g96-22); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partia~l payment to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $56,051.90. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ci~ Council hereby authorizes partial payment to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. for the confltruction of a pump house and connecting watermain for Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #9~-22) in the amount of $56,051.90. 2) 3) 4) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the monith of December, 1996. That the citY of Ramsey Finance Depa~'iment be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the ,adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember__ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following w6re absent: whereupon said resqlution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of December, 1996.
