Motion by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Terry to approve #1 through #14 in the affirmative. ,~ Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Terry, Bawden, Jensen, LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: None. Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt Resolution #96-09-214 adopting Findings of Fact #0410 relating to Stephen Schmidt's request for a variance. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Holland, Jensen, LaDue, Terry, and Thom& Voting No: None. Absent: None. The Board of Adjustment proceed to review the terms of the variance. Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member HolIand to approve the issuance ora variance for Stephen Schmidt, based on Findings of Fact #0410, and adopt Resolution #96-09- 215 declaring terms of the variance as presented. Further Discussion: Chairperson Deemer asked if 85 feet was too restrictive. Mr. Schmidt stated that was his best measurement. Ms. Frolik stated that a few feet ofteeway would be appropriate. Amendment by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Thorud to amend #2 to read eighty (80) feet from the front property line. Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Thorud, Bawden, Jensen, LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: None. Motion carded. BOARD INPUT Board Member Jensen asked how long it has been since the City has reviewed the exterior siding requirements for commercial buildings. Ms. Frolik stated it has been reviewed within the last few years. Board Member Jensen stated she had a concern regarding vinyl siding.
