I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> CASE # ~ <br /> <br />ADOPT PROPOSED ORDINANCES TO ESTABLISH REGULATIONS FOR <br />PARKING VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS <br />AND MODIFYING LOT COVERAGE RESTRICTIONS <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On November 1-2, 1996, the City Council introduced an ordinance to establish regulations for <br />parking vehicles and equipment in the single family residential districts and an ordinance to modify <br />lot coverage resections in the residential districts to include prepared surfaces in the R-1 Urban <br />and R-1 Rural ar{as. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of the City Charter, the ordinances are now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends adoption of the attached ordinances. <br /> <br />Council ~Action: <br /> <br />Motion ~o: ~0~y <br />Adopt Ordinance g96-~7 to amend Sections 9.02 (Def'mitions) and 9.11.10 (Off Street <br />Parking) Cf the Ramsey City Code to establish regulations for parking private and <br />commercial use vehicles and equipment in the residential districts. <br /> <br />Motion to: 6_~ <br />Adopt Ordinance g9 to amend Sections 9.20.11 (Ro 1 Rural Residential), 9.20.12 (R- <br />I Urban R~sidential), 9.20.13 (R-2 Urban Residential), 9.20.14 (R-3 Urban Residential), <br />and 9.20.1~5 (Multiple Residential) of the Ramsey City Code to clarify the scope of lot <br />coverage. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: City Attorney <br />CC: 12/10/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
