Adop~iqn Of Ordinance $85-2 Regarding Environmental Protection: <br /> <br /> Mot.~on by Oouncilrmanber Cox and seoonded by Mayor Heitman to dispense with the <br /> rea~ng of Drdinance #85-2. <br /> <br />Motion c~rr~ed. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~nbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Re~a~ann andi Schlueter. <br /> <br />Motion by COuncilme~ber Oox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Ordinance $85-2 ~mending Chapter 170.01 of the City Code to establish <br />environmental protection regulations. Further, that page 22 of the ordinance <br />be amended ~o require a 4' bike lane rather than a 6' bike lane. (Please refer <br />to ordinanc~ file for Ordinance 985-2). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated that the State mandates policies <br />regarding d~v. elounent along the river, to the objection of people living there. <br />Oo~cilmembgr (Dx stated that the developer has to provide the bike trail <br />right-of-wa~ and pave it; if asked to, the people wouldn't pay for it but they <br />s,~re want t~ use it. <br /> <br />~.~otion carri~ed.
