Case #6 <br /> <br />SCHEDULE PUBLIC COMMENT PROCESS FOR ALPINE PARK <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you wil]~ recall, the 1997 Capital Improvement Program shows an approximate <br />$220,000 improvement to begin construction of Alpine Park. This amount is projected to <br />be generated om the sale of City owned property north of 153rd Avenue, directly across <br />from the Parr for residential housing. <br /> <br />The purpose Of this case is to receive the Park and Recreation Commission's ideas on how <br />best to incluc~e the many stakeholders in the planning process. The minimum step at this <br />point is to ad~tertise in the Ramsey Resident a particular Park and Recreation Commission <br />meeting as ti-re beginning of the comment period. <br /> <br />Staff RecoMmendation: <br />Staff recon~ends identifying the various steps desked in the planning process and <br />specifically d~e~ slgnatmg a meeting early this year to receive comments on Alpine Park's <br />design. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br />Based upon discussion. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Adminis~ator <br />Parks/UtilitieS.
