OPERATIONS - cOntinued Overall, the Ar~oka County Department of Parks and Recreation operates under a $3.5 million dollar budget with a p~rmanem staff of forty-two. The budget is growing at about a four to six percent per year. To better serve l~ark users, Anoka County Department of Parks and Recreation is conducting customer surveys, developing a long range maintenance program, undertaking a "2020 Vision" to plan for a long range park system, and creating a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy for its park system. 8. Staff responded that the regional llark would have a more natural swimming pond like Hennepin County Parks.
