OPERATIONS - cOntinued <br /> <br /> Overall, the Ar~oka County Department of Parks and Recreation operates under a $3.5 million <br />dollar budget with a p~rmanem staff of forty-two. The budget is growing at about a four to six percent per <br />year. To better serve l~ark users, Anoka County Department of Parks and Recreation is conducting <br />customer surveys, developing a long range maintenance program, undertaking a "2020 Vision" to plan for <br />a long range park system, and creating a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy for its park <br />system. <br /> <br />8. Staff <br />responded that the regional llark would have a more natural swimming pond like Hennepin County Parks.
