Council asked that the City Attorney and Staff review ordinance to make sure City Code is as complete in its language as the State Statutes with regard to Metes and Bounds subdivisions. Council voted to table the case on Canvas Craft and set up a committee of you, Councilmember Hardin and Mayor Gilbertson to meet with Mr. Franta. If the meeting cannot be scheduled until after the new year, Councilmember Peterson will take Mayor Gilbertson's place on the Committee. Schedule such meeting. Meeting was held with Hardin. Christmas Tree Lot signs were discussed. The Council talked about having the Planning Commission review the sign ordinance as it relates to seasonal, etc. As discussion ensued, it appeared the consensus of the Council was that this would be a good discussion for the workshop. Councilmember Zimrnerman stated he felt that with regard to Christmas Tree farms, the signs should pertain more to the directional rather than to the price of the u'ees. Councilmember Peterson requested information on why it's 600' for cul-de-sac length - From a planning standpoint - should we keep it at that - what's the reason for it He would also like input from public works people and emergency people. The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council approve the proposed site plan for North Lake Properties multi- tenant retail facility based upon discussion and contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated June 1, 1995 and any recommendations from Mn/DOT. Forward to City Council. Applicant requested tabling. Execute Resolution g05-07-147 (Zimmerman/Beahen/Hardin absent) adopting Findings of Fact g0380 relating to a request from North Fork, Inc. for a conditional use permit for grading in Northfork Links. Amend the resolution as follows: The resolution will be signed By: Mayor Pro Tern. Execute Resolution g95-07-148 (Beyer/Zimmerman~ardin absent) declaring terms of conditional use permit, based on Findings of Fact g0380, to grade soils in Northfork Links. Amend the resolution as follows: Delete #10. Add a term to read "The City Engineer and the developer's engineer will work together to solve the drainage issue along Andrie Street prior to the commencement of any grading operations."
