Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~9-01- RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 []'R-B'~N RESIDENTIAL WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That Good Value Homes, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on January 10, 1996 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the following described tract: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 27 described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest comer thereof; thence north IX) degrees 33 minutes 47 seconds West on the West line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter for a distance of 418 feet; thence North 89 degrees 26 minutes 44 seconds East and parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 209 feet; thence South 00 degrees 33 minutes 47 seconds East and parallel to said West line to the said Southline thereof; thence South 89 degrees 26 minutes 44 seconds West on said South line to the point of commencment. Except Parcel No. 8, Anoka County Highway Right-of- Way Plat No. 16. Also including that part of the Southeast Qwuarter of the Northwest QWuarter of Said Northwest Quarter lying northeasterly of Anoka County Highway Right-of-Way Plat No. 8. and upon recording: Pondview, Anoka County, Minnesota 4. The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately eighty five (85) acres. 5. That the subject property is currently zoned Industrial. That the properties to the north are zoned B-1 Business and R-1 Urban Residential, the property to the east and west is zoned Industrial, and the property to the south is zoned Business Warehouse.
