RECOMMENDATION FOR APPOINTMENTS TO <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Backgroufld: <br /> <br />The terms of Commissioners Terry Hendriksen and Paul Holland expired on December 31, <br />1995. ~ <br /> <br />ObservatiOns: <br /> <br />Mr. Holland declined reappointment to the Commission and City Council accepted his <br />resignation. I Council also denied the Planning Commissions recommendation to reappoint <br />Mr. Hendrik~, en and directed Staff to advertise to fill the vacancies. <br /> <br />At a subseqtient Planning Commission meeting, Mr. Holland indicated a desire to continue <br />to serve on the Planning Commission. City Attorney Goodrich indicated that because <br />Council had officially accepted his resignation, that it would be appropriate for Mr. Holland <br />to reapply. <br /> <br />The City has received six applications for the Commission vacancies: Paul Holland, Terry <br />Hendriksen, James Struwve, Sharon Jensen, Richard Kruger, and Chris Boraas.
