Letter of Interest for Planning <br />January 11, 1996 <br /> <br />Commission' <br /> <br />Attention: Linda Waile Smith <br /> City Of Ramsey <br /> <br />My name is James G. Struwve. I live at 15328 Hematite St. N.W. I have lived in Ramsey for 4 years. I <br />am married to Pam Stmwve. We have 3 children. Trisha, age 9, and twin boys, Anthony & Allan, age 8. <br /> <br />When we moved to Ramsey 4 years ago, we felt tiffs community, being part rural & part urban, would be a <br />fine setting to raise a family. I would like to be appointed to the planning commission because of our <br />commitment to make Ramsey a better community to reside in. <br />I work for United Defense, formally "FMC Corporation" which is located in Fridley, MN. I have been <br />employed with United Defense for 20 years as a Guard/Firefighter. I am also the President of the <br />International Guards Union of America at the Local level and have been elected and still hold office as a <br />Regional Trustee and International Trustee. I have also been appointed by United Defense to represent <br />them in the CAER (Community Awareness and Emergency Response) organization. I was elected to the <br />Board of Directors of this organization. When our family lived in Columbia Heights I was a member of <br />the volunteer Fire Department for 5 years until we moved to Ramsey. <br /> <br />This letter of intent lets me introduce my family and myself.
