No waste materials shall be stored on the site which are not utilized in <br />the album processing operation or properly identified as materials incidental to the <br />processlng operation. Such materials are limited to aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel <br />and oth~ non ha?ordous metals received as a small portion (less than 10% by volume) of an <br />alumin .dm feedstock load. <br /> <br />Fire Extinguishers. The Permit Holder shall, at all times, .have a sufficient supply of fire <br />extinguishers located throughout the operation in conformance with the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> <br />Firo Lances. The Permit Holder shall properly construct and maintain all season paved fire <br />lanes ortproperly pave and maintain drives and clearances to serve as fire lanes for the street <br />side of ~e property to the back of the property. <br /> <br />Contingency Action Plan. The owner or operator must prepare and maintain a contingency <br />action pi, an for the aluminum processing facility. The plan must discuss what specific actions <br />will be tEken if a fire, spill or release occurs at the facility and that back-up system exists if <br />portionslof the facility are closed for any period of time. The plan must also identify a <br />responsi.ble contact person or persons for the facility who could be reached 24 hours a day in <br />the event of a fire, spill, release or other serious problems along with their home addresses <br />and pho:~e numbers. <br /> <br />Hours of _Operation. The Permit Holder may conduct his receiving operations within the <br />hours 047:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and may conduct aluminum melt <br />operatiot,~s 24 hours a day, seven days a week unless the operations present a nuisance or <br />disturb ~eighboring land uses. The City Council may limit hours of operation to protect <br />neighbo ~t~ing land uses. <br /> <br />Trailer/V~hicle Storage. The use of trailers, trucks or vehicles for long term storage (longer <br />than 30 d. onsecutive days) is prohibited. All vehicles and trailers on site must bear a current <br />license, l~e registered, and must be road worthy. <br /> <br />Sl:r~ctlxro$ and Site Improvements. The placement, design and conslraction of the 9,000 <br />square fqiot expansion to the existing principal building and site improvements shall comply <br />with C'i~ Code as provided within the development permit, and applicable state codes and <br /> ~ . <br />OSHA r~mrements. <br /> <br />Building ~Permits. No building permit for the site will be issued until the Permit Holder has: <br />a) sign~ and returned the conditional use permit and development permit; b) provided the <br />required financial guarantee for required improvements described in the development permit; <br />and c) sdlpplied the Building Official with information required by the City <br />Sanitary_ Sewer and Road Improvements. The Permit Holder agrees to connect to City sewer <br />and wate? at the time sewer and water is extended to the area and herein agrees to join in a <br />petition .f~r sewer and water improvements and improvements to 142nd Avenue N.W. when <br />such peti~ons are presented. <br /> <br />Work and Storage Operation Enclosed. All operations must be within a fully permanently <br />enclosedbuilding. <br /> <br />.Height Ligrd. t on Equipment. The crane may be operated at its full height but while being <br />stored on ~che site shall not be stored at a height greater than the height of the smoke stack on <br />the principal structures on the site. <br /> <br /> <br />
