CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR <br /> <br /> SKETCH PLAN APPROVAL OF FERRUM ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background~ <br /> <br />The City of R~msey is in the process of platting recently acquired property lying west of Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. anc~ north of the Burlington Northern Railroad. The area to be platted is approximately <br />8.5 acres in si~ and is proposed to be subdivided into 1 industrial lot for development and 1 outlot <br />for possible fu ~'ure development. <br /> <br />The following ~tems are enclosed for your review: <br /> <br /> a) ;Site location map <br /> b) iProposed plat <br /> c) iCity Staff review letter dated March 29, 1996 <br />ObservationS: <br /> <br />The lot to be p~latted meets the 1 acre area and 200 feet of frontage on a public road requirements. <br />The lot will re~. ire access from McKinley Street and Sunfish Lake Blvd. McKinley Street is being <br />constructed wi~ City Tax Increment Revenues to promote economic development in the area. <br /> <br />Drainage will ~>e drained to the western side of Lot 1, where a regional storm detention pond will <br />be constructediwhich will discharge to the storm sewer located along the western side of Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />The plat will be reviewed by the Park Commission at their regular meeting in April for park <br />dedication reqdirements.
