Mayor Hardin ~tated that the City is looking at enticing the corridor. The Transportation Impact <br />Fee the City just implemented could be a possible funding source. <br /> <br />Councilrnember Beyer inquired if the letter from the County Engineer will be implemented and <br />taken care of in the study. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski assured her it would be. <br /> <br />Mr. Eyler reiterated that the comments received from the County Engineer were of a technical <br />nature. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman commented that before the City started the study of ~47, the State had <br />suggested there ~as no money to do it. Now that the City got it going, with the County as a major <br />player, turn lanes have become part of the plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember~Beahen stated that Council is taking this study very seriously especially because of <br />the accident history. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to direct SRF to <br />prepare responses to the comments made by the public and the reviewing agencies. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br /> <br />
