CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (INTERIM USE <br />PERMIT) FOR A TEMPORARY STRUCTURE; <br /> CASE OF JOHNSON HOLDINGS, INC. <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Johnson Holdings, Inc., has submitted an application for an interim use permit to utilize a <br />14' x 60' modular office structure at 14150 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Site plan <br />Proposed findings of fact <br />Proposed interim use permit <br /> <br />Notification' <br /> <br />In accordance with State law, properties within 350 feet of the subject property were <br />notified of the request <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Johnson Holdings has received site plan approval from the City to construct and operate a <br />bank on the subject property. Because of numerous requests from residents and local <br />businesses, they are requesting the use of a modular office structure to begin business <br />operations on the site while their permanent building is under construction. <br /> <br />The City has previously granted permits for temporary office' structures in the commercial <br />and industrial areas for limited periods of time to accommodate the particular needs of the <br />business. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff is recommending approval of the interim use permit~ ' <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to a request for an <br />interim use permit for a temporary structure from Johnson Holdings, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Rex:ommend that City Council approve/deny the request for an interim use permit <br />for a temporary structure from Johnson Holdings, Inc. <br /> <br />PC: 8/6/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
