C°uncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO B-2 BUSIN~;'~-~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOw THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Casey's General Stores, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly <br />applied to rezone certain property from B- 1 Business to B-2 Business. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on September 3, 1996 and that said public hearing was properly advertised <br />and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5:1 <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 4, Sunfish Square, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("the Subject Property"). <br /> <br />That the total area of the Subject Property to be rezoned is approximately 1 acre in size. <br /> <br />That the Applicants are proposing to rezone the Subject Property to B-2 Business to <br />facilitate development of it with a convenience store with gas. <br /> <br />That the adjacent properties to the north and east are zoned Multiple Residential and the <br />properties on the west side of Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. and the south side of Industry <br />Avenue are zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />That the proposed zoning amendment will/will not substantially adversely impair the use or <br />market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />That the proposed zoning amendment will/will not change the essential character of the <br />area. <br /> <br />9~ <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
