CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.02 "DEFINITIONS" AND SECTION 9.11 "PERFORMANCE STANDARDS", SUBSECTION 9.11.10 "OFF STREET PARKING" OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT Section 9.11.10 (Off Street Parking) is hereby mended to include the following language: In any Resident/al District, /nside parking/storage of licensed and/or unlicensed motor vehicles and equipment, commercial or private, shall be permitte& In any Resident/al District, no outside parking/storage of any motor vehicle or equipment shall be permitted, EXCEPT as follows: Currently licensed and operable motor vehicles, and one unlicensed and operable motor vehicle, the primary purpose of which is for private transportation or recreational use may be stored in the front yard if on a driveway or in the side or rear yard provided they are parked on a prepared surface that consists of either bituminous pavement, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel bo Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for private or personal/recreational use, may be parked/stored in the front yard if on a driveway or in the side or rear yard. Co Commercial use motor vehicles and equipment may be parked/stored outside for short-term periods when rendering a service such as lo~rting or unloading or on a routine or regular basis for long terms under the following conditions: The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a degree of 75% at ground level view from adjacent properties and public streets 100% of the time while unattended. The vehicles and/or equipment shall be parked/stored only on the side yard or rear yard of the subject property and said items shall be parked/stored on a prepared surface that consists of either bituminous pavement, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel.
