ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF ~fINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAiMSEY, MINNESOTA. AN ORDINANCE A/V[ENDING SECTION 9.02 "DEFINITIONS" AND SECTION 9.11 "PERFORMANCE STANDARDS", SUBSECTION 9.11.10 "OFF STREET PARKING" OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT Section 9.1 I. l0 (Off Street Parking) is hereby amended to include the following language: In any Residential District, inside parking/storage of licensed and/or unlicensed motor vehicles and equipment,, commercial or private, shall be permitted. In any Residential District, no outside parking/storage of any motor vehicle or equipment shall be permitted, EXCEPT as follows: Currently licensed and operable motor vehicles, and one unlicensed a_nd operable motor vehicle, the primary purpose of which is for private transportation or recreational use may be stored in the front yard if on a driveway or in the side or rear yard provided they are parked on a prepared surface thax consists of either bituminous pavement, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel. Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for private or personal/recreational use, may be parked/stored in the front yard if on a driveway or in the side or rear yard. Commercial use motor veh/cles and equipment may be parked/stored outside for short-term periods when rendering a service such as loading or unloading or on a routine or regular basis for long terms under the following conditions: The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a deEree of 75% at ground level view from adjacent properties and public streets 100% of the time while unattended. The vehicles and/or equipment shall be parked/stored only on the side yard or rear yard of the subject property and saAd items shall be parked/stored on a prepared surface that consists of either bituminous pavement, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel.
