Monthly Statue Report

Complete

Pending

Complete

Pending

Pending

10/1/96

11/12/96

11/12/96

11/12/96

11/12/96

Discussions ensued relating to different signs - also sign share by the
City, etc. with panels that businesses could rent, etc. Check with other
cities (suggested was Maple Grove and Plymouth) to see how they
handle these types of signs. Do they own?, etc. The issue of the sign
for Holm's Super Bowl was tabled until a meeting can be held with all
parties involved. Report back to Council. You mentioned Tuesday
may work for such meeting.

Mr. Peterson, a neighbor to Pete and Linda Mayer who live at 7191 -
1751h Avenue NW may be planning to sell Christmas trees on his
property and it appears he does not live there. Bill Goodrich stated that
if this is the case, Mr. Peterson would have to have a CUP to sell the
trees. If Mr. Peterson has violated any laws, Mr. Goodrich stated the
City would take the approlm'iate actions. If there will be a tree farm
there, the neighbors were concerned about the sign ordinance
regarding advertising. Mr. Goodrich stated that you could address that
issue.

Wayne Jeffrey, owner of Ramsey Drug, expressed concern about his
name being taken off the clinic's sign on g47. You agreed to .work
with him on this issue and report back to Council.

Council introduced the ordinance to amend 9.02 (Definitions) and
9.11.10 (Off-Street Parking) of the Ramsey City Code to establish
regulations for parking private and commercial use vehicles and
equipment in residential districts. Please con subsequent agenda for
formal adoption. Adoption scheduled for December 10.

Council inquired about the status of the CUP for the group home - you
offered that this issue could be discussed at the December 10 meeting.

41
