Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br /> Cas~ #3: Request for Sketch Plan Review of Putter's Field, a Minor <br /> ~: Subdivision; Case of Rich Kerner <br /> <br /> ThisZase was reopened upon request by the applicant to address concerns he had regarding the <br /> Staff Review letter dated February 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> Apptqcant Rich Kemer inquired about the dedication of the drainage and utility easements. <br /> <br /> Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Mr. Kerner should give this information to his surveyor so <br /> that the standard drainage and utility easements can be added to the final plat. <br /> <br /> Mr. Kerner stated that his wetlands have been f-died previously, and he inquired as to whether he <br /> could remove some of the fill to improve the area. <br /> <br /> City Engineer Jankowski advised that he can remove fill and deposit it on high ground or off-site. <br /> Commissioner Deemer also advised that he is allowed to fill up to 400 square feet of wetland. <br /> Ch~erson Bawden recessed the meeting at 8:55 p.~ <br /> <br /> Ch~erson Bawden called the meeting back to order at 9:05 p.m. <br />~ Request to'Renew a Use Permit an <br /> for <br /> Asphalt <br /> Production Plant; Case of Commercial Asphalt <br /> <br /> Zonhag Administrator Frolik stated that Commercial Asphalt has submitted an application for the <br /> issu~ce of a new conditional use permit (CUP) to continue the operation of a hot mix asphalt plant <br /> which was first issued by a CUP on July 12, 1988. She reported the applicant has indicated that <br /> the _~erations are intended to be status quo as they have been since 1988. <br /> <br /> Brent Schlueter, Facilities Planning and Compliance Coordinator for Commercial Asphalt, <br /> addressed proposed Findings of Fact #i5 and advised that they own the south 30 feet of Lot 2 <br /> Block 4 and therefore have fee title access to Basalt Street. He also referenced Term ~ of the <br /> prop#set CUP, stating that they have been permitted a maximum height of 35 feet for stock piles <br /> of m~terial and would like to retain that height limit, not the 32 which is proposed.
