! <br />! <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />PROPERTY I~,ROM R-3 <br /> <br /> introduced ~he following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #95-02- <br /> <br />ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br /> URBAN RESIDENTIAL T0'-R-'7-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHERI~AS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY,!ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That Gary Gotham, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone <br /> certain property from R-3 Urban Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />2. That the ~lanning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br /> 9.03.03 o~' the City Code on February 7, 1995 and that said public hearing was properly <br /> advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Commencing at the Northwest corner of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES <br /> according~ to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in <br /> and for Ahoka County, Minnesota; thence South along the West line of said GORHAM'S <br /> SANDY ACRES ESTATES for a distance of 549.17 feet, thence West and parallel with the <br /> North linC of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 24 for a distance of 429.98 feet to a <br /> point her~iinafter known as Point A; thence continuing West and parallel with said North <br /> line of th~ Southwest Quarter to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. 47; thence <br /> Southeas~rly along said centerline for a distance of 400.57 feet to the actual point of <br /> beginning of land to be described; thence East and parallel with said North line of the <br /> Southweqt Quarter for a distance of 593.98 feet; thence Northwesterly to the <br /> aforemenOoned Point A; thence East and parallel with said North line of the Southwest <br /> Quarter to the West line of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the Southwest <br /> comer thereof; thence Westerly along the Westerly extension of the South line of said <br /> GORHA/~'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. <br /> 47; thenc6 Northwesterly along said centedine to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />and upon recording: <br /> <br />Willow Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />4. The total ~rea of the property to be rezoned is approximately eighteen (18) acres. <br /> <br />5. That the subject property is currently zoned R-3 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the Surrounding properties to the east, south and west are zoned R-1 Urban <br />Residential and the properties to the north are zoned R-3 Urban Residential and B-1 <br />Business.. <br /> <br />7. That the APplicant is proposing to develop the plat with single family urban residential lots. <br /> <br /> <br />
