I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember: RESOLUTION PROPERTY I~,ROM R-3 introduced ~he following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-02- ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN URBAN RESIDENTIAL T0'-R-'7-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL WHERI~AS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,!ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That Gary Gotham, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone certain property from R-3 Urban Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. 2. That the ~lanning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 o~' the City Code on February 7, 1995 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 3. That the Property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES according~ to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Ahoka County, Minnesota; thence South along the West line of said GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES for a distance of 549.17 feet, thence West and parallel with the North linC of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 24 for a distance of 429.98 feet to a point her~iinafter known as Point A; thence continuing West and parallel with said North line of th~ Southwest Quarter to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. 47; thence Southeas~rly along said centerline for a distance of 400.57 feet to the actual point of beginning of land to be described; thence East and parallel with said North line of the Southweqt Quarter for a distance of 593.98 feet; thence Northwesterly to the aforemenOoned Point A; thence East and parallel with said North line of the Southwest Quarter to the West line of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the Southwest comer thereof; thence Westerly along the Westerly extension of the South line of said GORHA/~'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. 47; thenc6 Northwesterly along said centedine to the point of beginning. and upon recording: Willow Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota 4. The total ~rea of the property to be rezoned is approximately eighteen (18) acres. 5. That the subject property is currently zoned R-3 Urban Residential. o That the Surrounding properties to the east, south and west are zoned R-1 Urban Residential and the properties to the north are zoned R-3 Urban Residential and B-1 Business.. 7. That the APplicant is proposing to develop the plat with single family urban residential lots.
