I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />'! <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />convicted of a crime, other than a crime involving theft, shall not make the <br />premises ineligible under this subsection. <br /> <br />Section 7i 13.06 "Holding of Property" is amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br />7.13.06 HOLDING OF PROPERTY <br /> <br />In the event the Chief of Police, or any member of the City Police force designated by the <br />Chief of ~'olice, notifies any licensee not to sell any property received on deposit or <br />purchasex~ by the licensee, or not to permit the same to be redeemed, the licensee shall not <br />sell nor p{~rmit such property to be redeemed until such property is released in writing by <br />the Chief Of Police, or designate. . . - <br /> <br />No pers°~ al property deposited with or purchased by any licensee shall be sold or <br />permittedito be redeemed from the place of business of licensee until 5 days after the copy <br />of the rec/brds required by Section 7.13.04 have been made available to the Chief of Police, <br />except upon written permission of the Chief of Police. <br />Section 7~13.08 "Prohibited Transactions" is amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br />7.13.08 : PROHIBITED TRANSACTIONS <br /> <br />No pawn§roker shall purchase or receive on deposit or pledge anything of value as security <br />for a leah of money from any person, male or female, under 18 years of age, nor <br />knowingly from personal under the influence of any chemical substance or those of <br />unsound mind. <br /> <br />Section 7.113.10 "Method of Payment" is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Paragraph (g) is added to section 7.13.11 which paragraph (g) shall pro. vide as follows: <br /> <br />(g) A~ any time when three Pawnbroker's licensed premises are operating within the <br /> City. <br /> <br />Section 7.'13.12 "Verification of Identification of Property" is added to Section 7.13, which <br />new provision shall provide as follows: <br /> <br />7.13.12 <br /> <br />VERIFICATION OF IDENTIFICATION OF PROPERTY <br /> <br />All employees of a pawn shop shall verify the identification information of any pawned <br />property I~y personal inspection of the property to determine any serial number or other <br />identification information on the property. <br /> <br />Section 7i!3.13 "Revocation of License" is added to Section 7.13 which new provision <br />shall prey!de as follows: <br /> <br />7.13.13 REVQGATION OF LICENSE <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 7.01.08 of this Chapter, any violation of the terms of this Section or <br />any provi~ion of the City Code the terms of this Section or any provision of the City Code <br />shall be gTounds for suspension and/or revocation of the license issued pursuant to this <br />Section. ~ license may be suspended and/or revoked by the Council only for cause and <br />only after,adequate notice to the licensee with the full opportunity for the licensee to be <br />heard. <br /> <br /> <br />
